About Hive Fitness Studio

A Client-Centered Approach

What sets Hive Fitness Studio trainers apart isn't our certifications and degrees; it is our unique client-centered approach. We want clients to have an active role in their success, and approach each client experience openly, ready to learn as much as we teach. 


At Hive Fitness Studio every single workout is coached by a certified personal trainer! Our members feel confident challenging themselves knowing their form is correct and each workout is tailored to their needs. 


We offer a variety of services, including one-on-one personal training, group fitness classes, pre and postnatal training and online coaching. Our trainers will work with you to create a program that fits your goals, schedule, and budget. If you are ready to build your confidence, energy and strength, let's go! 

Our Mission

Hive Fitness Studio seeks to strengthen our community in a welcoming and  inclusive fitness environment by developing a sustainable, fulfilling and purposeful movement practice, meeting each individual where they are. 

Who We Are

Megan Barnett

Megan (she/her) with 15 years experience as a trainer and coach, is the owner of Hive Fitness Studio. She holds a Bachelor's in Science in Foods and Nutrition from Appalachian State University, a pre- and post natal coaching certification and several other training and nutrition related certifications. Her fitness and nutrition coaching focuses on creating long-term, sustainable results. "I love to see clients get results, and I love it even more when they find freedom in their nutrition  habits and learn to love their gym time. That, to me, is real success."
